PRAYER SHIELD TEAM

 

The Prayer Shield Team’s number one assignment is to cover our Senior Pastors, Rick and Verna Brown daily, as stated in I Timothy 2: 1&2; to uphold and pray for the vision of Soul Harvest Worship Center; to host the presence of God, to bring souls into His Kingdom and equip the saints for service.

The Prayer Shield resides over the SH-HOP (Soul Harvest House of Prayer) in partnership with the Worship Ministries, with the immediate emphasis on the 7:00-8:00 corporate prayer hour.  Our goal this year is to have the SH-HOP open for at least one hour a day seven days a week.  Our long-term goal is for a 24/7 House of Prayer open to the community where people will encounter the presence of Almighty God through intimate worship and intercessory prayer day or night. 

The Prayer Shield Team meets before each service to cover our pastor, to seek God’s heart for the service, to release the Kingdom of God over the service and the region and to intercede for people attending.

The Prayer Shield also serves as altar workers available during altar times to pray with people in need, releasing healing, both physical and emotional, impartation, prophecy and encouragement.

This team also unites in prayer as requests come in for immediate needs of people throughout the world.

The Prayer Shield Team is selected by invitation, through Pastor Verna Brown and Pastor Dee Dee Barth. 

Membership is required along with an evident lifestyle of intimate worship and committed prayer.

 

NEOS (NEW REALITY) INNER-HEALING MINISTRY

 

I Corinthians 5:7

Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened.  For Christ, our Passover Lamb has been sacrificed.

The Greek word for new is Neos.  It’s about a fresh new state of position, a new now, in the present. The sacrifice of the Lamb of God has already removed the leaven from our lives.  His death accomplished what you and I could never do.  It took away the pollution that defiled us in the presence of Almighty God.

In a Neos session we remove in practice what has already been removed in theory.   Jesus’ death gives us legal status as “not guilty”, but we are obligated to make that legal status a practical reality.  We are called to live up to the standard God has already placed upon us.  We are to make ourselves a place where the purity of the Holy Spirit may reside without concern.

Neos sessions are private and confidential.  Forgiveness is the key to being set free from our past.  Isaiah: 61:1b…heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives (both physical and spiritual captives) and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound.

In this healing process, generational curses, word curses, ungodly soul ties are broken off while Father God reveals the individual’s true identity in Him.  Forgiveness is the key to freedom.

Membership is required to a part of the Neos team, also must be a member of the Prayer Shield, and trained by Pastor Dee Dee Barth. 

A personal Neos session is a requirement for any position of leadership in Soul Harvest Worship Center.
