Don't Let the Whisperer Get That Close to You!

Good Morning My Loves, In yesterday’s Wisdom Love Letter we saw that the enemy’s main agenda is to get “among” us, and put a stop to the work! He is unable to do that when a person “knows,” and is able to “see-identify” him, and also “knows” their identity and how to exercise their authority-power in Christ. Here’s what we learned from Nehemiah 4:11-12: 11 Our enemies said, “They will not know or see us until we are among them, kill them and put a stop to the work.” 12 When the Jews who lived near them came, they said to us ten times (repeatedly), “From every place you turn, they will come up against us.”

-He is a master of disguise and wreaks havoc on the one who doesn’t “know” or “see” him.

-He NEVER SHUTS UP!

-He works overtime to get up close and personal, and REPEATEDLY whispers his lies of how he is going to destroy us. -When you are under his influence it feels like no matter where you turn, you are being bombarded with his lies. You are getting hit from every direction. In the book of Zechariah it speaks of satan standing “right beside” the high priest! 3 Then the guiding angel showed me Joshua the high priest [representing disobedient, sinful Israel] standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at Joshua’s right hand to be his adversary and to accuse him. (Zechariah 3:1)

-The devil wants to be so close to you that you’ll become comfortable and familiar with his lies.

-He’s always attempting to get closer and closer. He wants his whispers to drown out the still small voice of the Lord.

-If you don’t bind and rebuke him, you’ll become comfortable with him being there, and start believing his lies.

-The remedy for this is to be so close to the Lord that there is no room for satan. When he’s that close it’s an intimacy problem. satan has been given more intimacy than Jesus.

Draw near to the Lord, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Don’t let him get close enough to whisper his lies into your ears. Rebuke him, put him under your feet where he belongs and renounce every lie he has spoken. Replace the lies with the truth of God’s Word!

satan loves to bombard you with his lies until your faith feels like a limp noodle, your prayers feel empty, hallow, and your mind and body burn out. He will not stop until you feel cold, numb, bankrupt of all strength, and you’re running from your assignment. He wants you to be so weak that you’re no longer guarding your life. He wants you to open the door so he can snuggle up close and lie to you so much that you begin to wallow in despair. He did it to the prophet Elijah, and the Lord had to take him aside to a place where He could minister to him with food and rest. After many public displays of God’s power and dominion through him, this mighty man of God was fearful, confused, and exhausted. After a time of rest, the Lord “whispered” to Elijah and he was able to hear the voice of the Lord again. (1 Kings 19:11-12) Let’s not let the devil get that close. Let’s stay in intimacy with the Lord, rest in His embrace, and allow the Lord to whisper truth into our spirit. He will always take our overwhelmed minds and spirits, and bring renewal of vision and strength. Our MIGHTY GOD will destroy the accuser, transform us, and redirect us toward our destiny! HE’S SO INVESTED IN US, AND HE WILL NOT LEAVE US IN OUR TIME OF VULNERABILITY. WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE!
