This Could Be Your Last Day on Earth! Got Jesus?

Good Morning My Loves,

Last night I was honored to kick off The Lift - Prayer & Presence Conference in Turlock, Ca. As I began with this statement, “Personal, corporate, and national restoration ALWAYS begins with rebuilding the altar of prayer, and deep reverence and hunger for our Holy God,” the manifest presence of God came upon me, and the fire that was shut up in my bones came forth. I guess that’s what happens when your final prayer before stepping out is, “Possess me and fill me with your fire from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet Holy Spirit. Help me lead people to Jesus.” During the message I kept hearing the Holy Spirit saying, “Many are in the valley of decision. Many are hanging in the balance. Without the prayers and witness of the righteous, they will die and go to hell. Stir my people up to pray! This is the season to call your loved ones and those who do not know Me, out of darkness and into relationship with Me - The Light!” As the night progressed His weighty glory (Kabod) set upon us, and the altar flooded with travailing women. I was having flashbacks to my childhood of Holy Ghost filled preachers saying, “Don’t leave this place without surrendering your life to the Lord Jesus Christ! You don’t know if you’ll be here tomorrow. This could be your last day on earth. No man is promised tomorrow! Don’t die in your sins and spend eternity in hell. Receive Jesus, so you can know that you’ll spend eternity in heaven. Repent of your sins. Receive His mercy. Surrender all to Him! He loves you! He died to save you. He stands with arms wide open to receive you and give you eternal life. Won’t you come to Jesus?”

I spoke many of those words, and then said “Quite frankly, I think we need more of this kind of preaching!” This statement was being drowned out by the beautiful sound of audible prayer and weeping, but I tucked it away in my heart and thanked God for the men and women who built upon the “old foundation” of prayer in my generation, and that spoke pure untainted truth. That prayed pure untainted prayers. That called me out of darkness and into His marvelous light.

On the way home, as I was nearing Modesto, traffic on Hwy 99 came to a stand-still. I sat in dead locked traffic for what seemed like 45 min. I knew by the Spirit of God that there had been a deadly crash. I sat there and prayed for everyone involved, and when traffic finally opened up it was clear that lives were lost last night. My permeating thought was, “Did they know Jesus? Where are they spending eternity? Where are their family members going to spend eternity?”

This statement was playing over and over again in my spirit, “Don’t leave this place without surrendering your life to the Lord Jesus Christ! You don’t know if you’ll be here tomorrow. This could be your last day on earth. No man is promised tomorrow! Don’t die in your sins and spend eternity in hell. Receive Jesus, so you can know that you’ll spend eternity in heaven. Repent of your sins. Receive His mercy. Surrender all to Him! He loves you! He died to save you. He stands with arms wide open to receive you and give you eternal life. Won’t you come to Jesus?” 2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.

My beloved, will you join me in praying for souls more than ever? We are about to enter the “great harvest” prior to the second coming of Christ. Many are still in the “undecided” category, and if they die without making that decision they will be lost for eternity. You and I have been given the privilege of being part of God’s master plan to bring them into His Kingdom. Let’s pray, sow, and witness as never before!
