God Says, "I'm Raising Up Encouragers!"

Good Morning My Loves,

For the past few months I’ve been hearing the Lord say, “You're not only a general, but a much needed encourager for this generation. Encourage My people to become modern day Barnabus’ who encouraged Paul after his conversion. Paul was rough around the edges and not trusted because of his past reputation of being a persecutor of My people. But I called him. I changed him. I anointed him, and yet he needed an encourager to stand beside him and help him by opening doors that would otherwise stay closed. He needed to be aligned with the right people and to be at the right place at the right time. He needed an encourager to spur him along through seasons of self-doubt and regret over his past. He needed an encourager to show him the way and introduce him to key people that would impart great wisdom and give him prophetic insight.

There has never been a generation of leaders that needs My encouragement like this one. This is a crucial time when encouragement is at an all time low. Men are critical and verbally vicious. The onslaught of demonic word curses against My appointed leaders has the potency to destroy most men, but I’m inoculating them from the poison of hate-filled and slanderous speech through My vessels of encouragement. I’m raising up encouragers to speak into the lives of My leaders who have been appointed to stand against this present darkness and bring deliverance to nations.

-Tell them what they can do through My Son Jesus Christ.

-Tell them what they are doing right and encourage them to change what they're doing wrong. Stop expecting them to be perfect and tell them that I see them as perfect through the Blood of My Son Jesus Christ.

-Tell hem how I feel about them without condemnation and human judgment.

-They have enough flaw finders, they need fuelers who will give them hope and help them build a better future.

-Tell them what Heaven is doing on their behalf.

-Lift them up, build them up, put courage in them! Fuel them with courage! EN-COURAGE MY LEADERS!

I am not dumping condemnation and judgment on leaders. On the contrary, I am their source of steadfastness and encouragement. I am raising up those who carry My very heart for such a time as this, because My leaders need My encouragement!”

MODERN DAY BARNABUS’ ARE CONNECTED TO THE SOURCE OF ALL ENCOURAGEMENT

a. Father God is the Source of encouragement. He liberally supplies it to those who are willing to be His recipients and distributors!

Romans 15:5-6 (AMPC)

5 Now may the God Who gives the power of patient endurance (steadfastness) and Who supplies encouragement, grant you to live in such mutual harmony and such full sympathy with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus,

6 That together you may [unanimously] with united hearts and one voice, praise and glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

In Acts 4:36, Luke translates Barnabus to mean “son of encouragement” or “son of consolation.” The original Greek word rendered “encouragement,” paraklesis, means encouragement, consolation, comfort, exhortation, and entreaty. This word is very close to the translation parakletos which is the word used to describe The Holy Spirit. It means one who comes alongside to help, comfort, console, steady, strengthen, etc..

b. Your words are powerful when they proceed from the Father’s heart!

God gives encouragers the ability to speak truth in such a way that it brings life and strength to the one who is in process and growing in their relationship with God and their calling. They help them sharpen their gifts so they are utilized to benefit His body and not harm it.

The Word of God says,

Hebrews 3:13 (ERV)

13 But encourage each other every day, while you still have something called “today.” Help each other so that none of you will be fooled by sin and become too hard to change.

c. Your presence is powerful when you’re carrying the Presence of the parkeletos - the Holy Spirit upon you!

God gives encouragers the ability to simply “be” a present comfort. He is an ever “present” help in time of need, and so are those who carry His presence. They don’t always have to speak, they can simply “be” present and cause courage to rise up in a leader. Their quiet support brings strength that is more powerful than any word that is spoken.

d. Your actions are vital to weary and battle scarred leaders.

You will not only be called upon to speak words of encouragement and be present, but to take action and assist in whatever way is necessary to help key leaders succeed in their God given assignments. You are a golden key to their success. When they succeed, you succeed. They need your help. Give it to them.

God gives encouragers the ability to “see” when a leader is burdened down, and they don’t need warm fuzzy feelings to get the job done. They step in and do whatever needs to be done to alleviate pressure, so that the leader can move the vision of the team, city, state, or nation ahead!

Look around you today and find someone who needs your encouragement. Ask the Lord how He wants you to be of encouragement to them, and then do it! You are needed! Get ready for some big assignments!

I love you all! PV
